Where's the pics with black nylon bolts?

I did this a few days ago, sorry no pics, because after putting a dozen on.....I took them back off. I did not like the way they looked at all....To much black. They would probably look decent on wheels with the silver lip, but on black wheels, they looked el crapo.

I am ordering a replacement stainless set from Brandon @ TMX.

Did anyone get pics with the Black bolts on a black rim? I agree that they will blend into the wheel and not be very noticeable.

What about with the machined lip? Maybe it's too soon since they just recently became available. This would likely look better.

Method has agreed to send me a full set of replacement zinc coated bolts to replace my corroded set...I'm still waiting for them...

Once they come, since i have to remove the nasty bolts anyway...I will install the black bolts and take a pic for you guys. :patriot:

painted black bolts

I painted mine with thick heavy black paint. Very easy to do when you find the right tubing to go over the bolt and then you use a skinny foam brush to poke inside with the paint. Took about 15 minutes per wheel. When they get scraped up you just touch it up the same way. I think it looks good on the machined lip.

^ Yep, as I suspected. The black bolts look good with a machined lip, but no dice on the all black wheels....

Count me in on this discussion. I can't remember who it was at TRR who mentioned the brass bolts are junk when it comes to road salt. Stainless bolts would remedy that and I'm sure I could find some at the Home Depot. If nobody figures it out I will just take a bolt out and bring it in to the store to find the right size with the little bolt matching doohickeys they have.

If you are using "brass" bolts for anything wheel related your off your rocker. The bolts provided from Method are zinc yellow-chromate coated.

Why's that? They have no load on them, they are cosmetic only.
