I say go with the deal. I have an afe Stage 2, but only because a buddy sold it to me on the cheap. The stock intake isn't restrictive at all on the 6.2 motor, the main gain is in the filter... and even that is negotiable.

If it wasn't a package deal with a 5 Star Tuner... I probably would've gotten a drop in filter.

EDIT: If you do get a CAI, I would caution you to consider getting one with a cover.

I like the INJEN the best but put a hydroshield pre-filter over the Donaldson filter because they will suck up water like a sponge.

We found out this weekend that the truck senses incoming water and shuts down immediately.

I'm not saying you should go exploring the bottom of the ocean, but it's good to know.

I'm by no means a mechanic but I think it would take a whole lot of water to totally destroy an engine.

The AFE has fitment issues, I had one on my Raptor and removed it, would not recommend it.

The metal shield that sits on top of the air box base. I have had this fitment issue and others on the forum have reported the same problem.
