I do not like this "one thread for wheel/tire sizing" idea. Not one bit do I like it. You have completely neglected those of use who just treasure waking up every morning, signing on to FRF, and hitting up the most recent "will 37's fit?" thread. Thanks a lot for ruining my forum experience.

While the above quote is pretty funny, I also find it ironic that I've read this whole thread and can't find a direct answer. So here's a direct question.

If you throw 37"s on a Raptor with stock rims, will you have any rubbing issues provided you do either a mid or top perch adjustment? From reading this thread, I want to say that yes, you'll have issues.

Ok, I have been reading up a lot on this, to the point of headaches, but have read so many mixed responses that I can't pin the final word. My question is: If everything else on the truck is stock, will Method Double Standards with </= 35" tires rub?

The answers I have seen are:

-No, that setup will not rub no matter what.
-No, it will not rub on turns, but yes, it will rub at full compression.
-Yes, that setup will rub, BUT if you go to mid-perch it will NOT rub.
-Yes, that setup will rub regardless of perch, because even the stock wheels and tires rub.

Apparently there is documented evidence that even the stock wheels and tires rub at full compression, which surprises me for this truck (especially how they advertise it).

I just don't want to buy a whole new set of shoes only to find out my versatility and durability has gone to shit - not worth it. Any final word on this specific setup? Throw down the hammer of truth!

Just out of curiosity for the future seeing I want to go to a slightly bigger tire and probably ditch the BF Goodrichs, the factory SVT beadlock capable rims, anyone know what max size is on mid perch?

Slightly bigger than 35s would be 37s.

I am a new member, just picked up a 13 Raptor. Job is taking me from FL to MN and my daily driver was a Shelby GT500. For me, offroading is limited to an occasional logging road with a few logs, rocks and ruts, max 2-4mph. My wifes Grand Cherokee handles 99.9% of it to give some perspective on my 'offroading'. Considering that type of offroading vs whoops, jumps, racing, etc, would I be able to use 37" tires without doing the perch mod or any other mods?

What width do most run with the 37's? I dont want it sticking out toooo far past the fenders. Assuming 12.5" width as that seems to be the most common offering?

Sorry for the question, I realize after just a short amount of reading the forum to learn about my new toy that there are a hundred 37" questions but I didn't see an answer tinted towards mostly pavement pounder with some very very light off the paved road use.

I wouldn't chance doing 37's and no perch mod even tho u will be mostly on the street. All it takes is going Offroad once and u may destroy the tire and fenderwells and possibly the fender. If u went with a small 37 like the bfg AT and then hammered pinch welds and did perch mod u would probably be safe.
