I had the opportunity to use one briefly on the last run... Before using it, I thought "Who needs a touch screen, that's stupid" until I used it...

I want one now, badly! Such a bad ass screen, super responsive, and SO MUCH EASIER to manipulate the waypoints, colors, and organize stuff. Other than my 10 minutes of programming it for a person on the run, I haven't had any other experience with it. In that 10 minutes I was sold, though!

Spendy, but super nice.

Thanks Blue. How was it (1) mounted (Lowrance bracket or special Outlaw bracket) and (2) powered (hardwire or cigarette or other)?

It is pricey but seems sufficiently bad ass to justify the cost.

Anyone else with experience, pics, etc.?

The one I used was installed with the Outlaw mount (obviously customized to fit this unit).

I believe it was hard-wired as well.

Does anyone make a mount for this unit (or any lowrance GPS) that is in the shown location for a 2013 where there is no dead space above the stock screen? I like the location of the mount, but have a 13 and can't use the outlaw bracket. I could fab my own, but looking for something pre-made.

Outlaw has modified their mount for the 13's. I have this GPS coming in this week and Connor told me today that his mount will work on my truck. I'll post pics once the unit is in.

Super nice and clean way to mount it. I'll be ordering one for my '12 soon.

Thanks for the great info and pics.
