I have an AFE stage 2, seems pretty water tight. Not that it matters because performance wise it does pretty much no good. No where near $450 worth of good. Just skip the CAI and save yourself some money.

I agree changed mine out for another brand with much better quality.

There may be a good one out there somewhere, but I haven't found it. I had a K&N system on my last truck and the AFE on my Raptor. Neither did anything noticeable.

Most people do a programmer at the same time as the CAI. I think that's where people get the idea a CAI does anything. IMO, they're snake oil just like throttle body spacers.

They are the automotive equivalent to homeopathic medicine.

My local speed shop, Performance Improvements quoted me over $700.00 for the AFE Raptor kit.

I bought an almost brand new AFE CAI for my 5.4L and def can tell a difference, More get up with full throttle, Louder Response under the Hood and little better fuel economy. I only spent $175 and it was def worth it and glad i did it.
