You have to put your headlights in an oven or use a heat gun to split the lens off the headlight housing. it's a lot of work and you can screw it up easily if you scratch the lens or get any gooey silicone on the lens while you're taking them apart. not worth the hassle IMO

There is a company here (in New Orleans) that does retrofits that I will be using to do my truck. If your interested I could see if they are interested in doing a group buy...? They do everything from Q45 Projectors, Custom Painting, ELWire to strobes to whatever you can dream up!

I'm going to be going with a single BiXenon (probably TSX projector) with a black bezel and strobes (off road/parade use only!).

My business partner did some photo work for them a year ago or so...

That said, if your up to the task I would go for it and do it yourself. You will save a lot of money if you do it yourself...

I am considering doing this myself, the only issue I have it with adjusting the headlights later on. Even with some smaller loads in the bed I need to move the headlights up quite a bit so you need to be able to both seal up around the back of the projectors and maintain flexibility so as not to break the seal. Could always mount the projector to the stock reflector but then how do you maintain flexibility in the back for load adjustments...

Dont keep the wire taught and use a rubber grommets is what I would do. Maybe someone with more experience can chime in.
