Welllllll, since we have ya Fox dudes on board, I am a bit curious on our stock valving for front and rear and Comp and Rebound? I was accustom to revalving Fox shocks a few years back and understand the by-pass as I used position sensitive outer by-pass shocks in conjunction with straight valved shocks, as well as Yamaha and White Bros shocks. I do not have my truck yet, so I cannot check on my own, which I would. Some questions are; what is Comp and reb (80/60) for instance for front and rear, what size, if at all are the bleed holes? I do want to be able to tune the stock shocks for if I feel too much kick or stacking. I still have shim box and charts from past life with sahft seal, O-rings, shrader valves and such.
Question 2; At some point I will go with a bump stop in the rear. While I like air for stops does this cause a kick or can the rates be changed on air stops, or should I go with oil type stops? I fyou cannot tell I hate kick in rear, I like it to hold down a bit and also lightens front to stay up some.
Any information is appreciated.:hail:

Sounds to me that you need to contact RPG and Upgrade to Stage IV.
Both Front and Rear Fox 3.0 Shocks/Coilovers are tunable as well as the Fox 2.5" Bumps.
Plus, the word on the street is that the Stage IV keeps the Rear end of the
Raptor from "Kicking". In Fact many users have reported a complete change
in Stance, Ride and virtually no "kicking" or axwelewrap/rear wheel hop.

Good Luck!!

Don't know any answers on the valving, but I can comment on the "kick" in the rear with my RPG/Fox bump setup. The same bumps that caused the truck to violently donkey kick before now get absorbed much better, and if the rear tires come off the ground, it's in a very smooth and controlled way. I'm really happy with the Fox bumps and the way they perform.

They're a great group of guys down there, and if you want someone to talk shock valving with, Corey is your guy...he gave me huge lesson on the subject, which was really cool. That guy knows a ton.

Corey at RPG took a set of rears apart for me but I didn't retain much of the info. A member on here, Mictouch, has revalved numerous sets of the stock and I believe he now has 3.0's. As for the kick you may want to look into a set of springs.for the rear...the stock ones can get a little buck wild on stuff. RPG has dialed the Nationals in to work perfectly with the bumps and stock shock valving...IMO.

Yes Gary, Microtouch played with welding up the internal bypass holes. Forgot to look at what he is running but it might be 3.0. Stock fox shocks are good for the street queens but as you know if you go off road you need a shock to handle it. You are right where 3 aftermarket shock makers are located, King, Icon, and Fox. Let us know what you think. Funny you bring up White bros, I went to them on my dirt bike many years ago

Each OEM FOX SVT shock has its own unique valve code depending on the year, engine size, and model. These shocks utilize the same valve shims as our offroad racing shocks so adjustments can be made if you choose. Some modification will be required to reassemble the shock. WARRNING any attempt to open the OEM FOX SVT shock will void the factory FORD warranty on the shocks.

FOX cannot give any recommendation on changing the OEM FOX SVT Raptor shocks from their factory settings.

FOX Bump Stops can be adjusted with nitrogen pressure and valve shim changes.
