Anyone install a cam yet?

correct me if i'm wrong but wouldn't a cam from ford racing keep the warranty intact? or is that just a crazy wish? i love the sound of the hot rod cams and i'm seriously considering pulling the trigger on it

If I don't trade to a 2013. I want to put a high compression 2013 GT500 short block with a good set of ported 3V heads so the hot rod cams wouldn't be enough.

Nice man. If you were going to go that route with the engine then why would you go to a 2013? Are they suppose to bump up the power in the Raptor?

My 2010 is starting to show its age so a newer truck will be nice and Ford has made enough changes between the 2010 to the 2013 trucks to where it would be worth it.

5.4L and 4.6L use the same cams. But here's the thing tuning it is tricky. Mike Troyer has got my tune pretty nailed but there are still some details to be fixed.

With your performance Mods to the 5.4l what kind of numbers did it make. I am not a bar stool HP talker just would like to know the bang for the buck. I also have a 5.4l and was thinking of keeping it simple, Cams, Headers and intake.

300ish. It's hard to tell with these trucks not having a 1:1 gear and Mike Troyer does all his pulls in 3rd gear which is around 1.50:1 and my tune still needs to be dialed in a little more.

So Cams, Headers and Intake gained 45 to 50hp to the ground!

Hey tank would this be a tune that say we could download onto our sct tuner? I've been looking at getting cams for my raptor for a while now I have my shorty headers in the mail already Andy AFE stage 2 in now with te AFE throttle body spacer. If the tune gets dialed in would there be a way to may e buy the file from him??
