I'm replacing my RBP CAI mostly due to the fact that it's the worst one I've ever owned. I was wanting to switch to AFE and was wondering which filter you guys went with. Do y'all feel more comfortable with an oiled or dry filter?

-Thanks

So without the cover is it still a "cold air" intake? or is it taking air from the engine compartment vs the wheel well?

It grabs air from both without the cover. With the cover its mainly air from the wheel well.

Im running the stage 2 with the dry filter as well with the box on mine and I can barely hear it. The afe intake absolutely rocks I had no problems with it this weekend at the run either it is a little dirty yes cause the dust was really bad but running through the mud a few times never once did I get mud into the filter or the box it did what it's suppose to now I just have to take the filter off today and wash it haha you'll be happy with the CAI!
