You said you were a “long time peruser and reader” so how could you have missed the below thread. You could have gotten that package for nearly half the price. Get you’re money back and shop either Ziegler, Flood, or Granger for better pricing…way better pricing.

He bought the extended warranty and maintenance packages. Together, they cost around 5K.

when i got quotes from all of what you listed - they were almost the same price if not a few bucks more.

I paid 5k flat for both - so unless I'm being thick i did not find an option with full synthetic that matched.

I got my truck at MSRP, and because i ended up financing through them, they even bought a point to bring my financing number down from NFCU.

I used Granger Ford to purchase my service contract / warranty. They're close to "at cost" and the prices are often unmatched at local dealerships. I purchased one at my local dealer and it was a bit of a bait and switch (didn't say they were changing me from a 72mo/100k to 48mo/100k with a $100 deductible for $2,700). I immediately cancelled it for a refund and used Granger, instead: https://grangerfordextendedwarranty.com/

For instance, this was my quote:

I'm fairly unfamiliar with outside company warranty/maintenance types of things, but with 0 dollar deductible it's 2,265 for what I got. I'll have to double check on the warranty side.

First post here. Thank you everyone for this extremely useful thread.

1) Still trying to solve a rattle emanating from the rear cockpit which seems to come and go.

Checked all nuts/bolts under rear seats and they're all tight. Can anyone provide a better description or picture of where this subwoofer nut is that has been mentioned multiple times?

2) Also had some scuffs on the center console arm rest near the Raptor embroidery and steering column which my dealer already has replacements for. Just need to take it in for swap.

3) Also, one day, while I was sitting in the driveway the sound system just exploded with the loudest interference noise. I thought the engine blew or something crazy and jumped out as quickly as possible. Might sound ridiculous to think that but it was that loud and disorienting. Wondering if that has happened to anyone and/or if anyone thinks there's permanent damage to the audio system (so far, nothing sounds blown but there might be lingering diaphragm damage)? Cycled the truck on/off multiple times and it wouldn't quit. It finally stopped on its own when I started toward the hood latch release to go and disconnect the battery.

See attached video.

In summary though, never been more in love with a vehicle and I actually feel quite lucky given the quality control issues some of you have encountered. My sympathies.

Im newer here so Ill ask my question. Just picked up my 2023 a few weeks ago. I plan to purchase an extended warranty from Flood once my factory 3/36 runs out. The cost increase to buy then is so minimal, it doesn't make sense for me to buy it today.

BUT! Im on the fence about the maintenance plan. Flood has a 5 year 60k full synthetic maintenance plan for $1525. Thats $127 per visit. Im new to these trucks, and have always changed my own oil on previous cars. But I want to stick with the factory on this guy. How much should I expect to pay for a full synthetic oil change for this? Is it the general consensus that buying the maintenance plan is cheaper in the long run? I assume it covers all maintenance items, not just oil changes?

Be aware that whatever ESP you purchase, starts from the “Original Purchase Date” of your truck. Say you purchase a 5yr/100k miles/$0 deductible plan a week after your factory warranty expires. This ESP does not start the day you purchased it (be nice if it did; we’d all be jumping for joy). What you’re actually getting is an additional 2 years + whatever mileage (you can calculate the mileage based off whatever your current mileage is when buy the ESP.

“How much should you expect to pay for a full synthetic oil change”…contact your servicing dealer for exact pricing…I couldn’t tell ya. The maintenance plan does cover more than your basic oil change; it follows your scheduled maintenance guide outlined in the owner’s manual. You can read what the Flood Maintenance Plan covers below. Always read the “fine print”.

One question for ya, why spend the extra cash by purchasing after the factory warranty expires?

So I think everyone sees how ALL prices are going up… you think the oil change in 2 years is going to be what it is today? Something to think about
