Did my first Raptor R mod today!

Well really my mod today was just a little upgrade, but thought to start this thread for everyone to post their mods and upgrades!

I’ll have many more to come in the near future and am looking forward to seeing everyone’s mods/builds!

Post ‘‘em up!

Today’s R Upgrade:
Ford Performance Air Filter
Part Number: M-9601-G
*You’ll want to put the cover back on after installing the new filter

Post updated with the part number and link. I purchased it from Steeda, however other venders carry it as well.

Part Number: M-9601-G

I got mine ready to go truck might be in tomorrow. Is the supercharger louder with it and lid off? AWE said they are making an exhuast when I spoke to them. I want to do intake, pulley, catback and tune.

Killer!

I didn’t notice the supercharger being louder. You will want to put the housing back on after you install the filter to ensure that the cold air does not escape from the cold air intake that’s coming in from the scoop.

What I do notice just from the filter swap is that it does let the SC breathe a bit easier, there’s definitely an increase in airflow with just the filter swap.

LMR did a video on the dyno with the stock filter and the performance filter showing the gains in HP and TQ with just the air filter swap.

Stock Filter
580 RWHP & 533TQ

Ford Performance Filter
588 RWHP & 534TQ

I’ll be making a few performance changes here shortly which will be increasing the HP to 1000+, just waiting for the parts to be made/come in. I’ll keep everyone posted once I install and test everything.

I have the same air filter, I am just driving mine a bit so I can hopefully tell a difference. And I am throwing on beadlocks. I am also debating about running 37X13.50s, but I want to confirm travel and zero rubbing issues. Anyone run 13.50s with input?

Nice!
I think @TheButcher is running 37X13.50s, I could be wrong though…

So far 13.50 seems to be just fine. Kept the stock wheels because I liked them. CCDD693A-8683-465F-8DF5-9DB3222C1537.jpeg208F0F09-ED65-43B9-94C1-EE005CF3AC6B.jpeg

Luv your truck, everything about it works and looks killer. I also know 37X13.50r17 will fit, and they are completely drivable around town. What I am wondering is what happens at full compression. I have heard they might rub while off roading, I don't know. Please help! Stuff those tires, and let us know if they rub?
