Has anyone tried any oil additives in the 3.5 l EcoBoost and heard or made any actual difference in the performance and longevity of the engine

Goatf--ker. You made my day
I had to Google "Oil made from goat balls" to find that. With some of the stuff I search for I'm sure someone at Google must be trying to get me put into an institution. :Big Laugh:

On anything I have that's worthwhile, I've been doing Mobil 1 with 5K intervals for a really long time, with great results.

I have been using S3 oil additive for quite a while in my diesels. I actually just wrote a review on Amazon for this. I do mostly hwy driving and usually get about 17. With the S3 I was getting 19 doing 70-75 mph.

Do you sell this snake oil? Your example photos show the average in trip 2 over 6k+miles and the trip 1 is only 200 miles. Your odometer shows 30miles difference, so these mpg data points were at the same time. The difference is typical of the huge difference in the total miles driven, so your data is irrelevant at best and willfully deceit at worst with a big dose of ignorance through the middle.

Enjoy it. Ignorance is blissful, but can certainly cost you money.

I bought this Raptor after the last one burned down. I have had it for 6,000 miles. I had a trip out of town so I just logged it with the cruise set between 70-75 after a few hundred miles. But even with my other Raptor I never got 19 mpg unless I was coasting.

I started with Penzoil Platinum Full Synthetic and then changed to Costco's Kirkland Full Synthetic brand.

It meets or exceeds Ford's oil recommendations and did very well on Project Farms testing.

Engine has 36,*** miles, idles and runs very quiet and smooth.

But I do have an UPR complete catch can system installed.

FordTechMakuloco's video on YouTube showed the difference between just the 3.5 DI and the 3.5 DI & PI by comparing the carbon deposits on the Valves using a borescope.

While the later did show much better results, I'm still satisfied with my decision for installing a complete catch can system which should all but eliminate any carbon deposits where they don't belong.

I use Amsoil Signature Series

This is exactly what I use, this is good oil. Backed by lots of tests w/ my other previous rides (sorry haven’t tested w/ the Raptor I just trust that it’s good stuff now going forward)

I still change it every 5k miles, I’ve been using the Amsoil oil filter as well the last couple changes
