Braintrust,

My truck was built 11/1/22. Ford Performance says no holds and it is awaiting shipment. They are "shocked" it hasn't moved yet. They are now seeing trucks built end of November and beginning of December being shipped out to dealers regularly.

They suggested for me to call my dealer and get them to contact the zone rep so he/she can give the logistics folks a friendly nudge with getting my truck on the train.

I've received 5 emails from Ford with varying dates of shipping to the dealer:

11/20-11/26
12/11-12/17
12/27-1/2
1/9-1/15
1/16-1/22 (of which the ford performance guys don't think this will happen either)

I'm curious if anyone else is in a similar boat as me with build date and the number of shipping eta emails that they have received?

Looks like you're in the same boat as me, my friend. What does your build look like? Curious if we have similar options that may have slowed things down, but it seems we are both ust looking for a ride out of Dearborn!

The truck I ordered is in virtually the same situation - eerily similar actually.

I couldn't take it anymore so I moved on and purchased one from a local dealer. Got what I feel to be a fair deal, and more importantly, was freed from "Built" status hell.

I wish you the best of luck because the truck is really amazing and IMO is absolutely worth the wait - or a small ADM - pick your poison.

2023 CO. Spray in BL. Nothing else. However they did not remove Security pack at time of build. I am also out of Dearborn. Stuck in a yard in Albany NY.

I gave up two on the lot trucks. A third om the lot option came up... also over the wait, to an extent other options favored me, and went to buy recently... drove there made an offer in person and they wouldn't budge on $1,500 difference. The truck was 5,000 ADM plus fees and options putting me at 9k more or $100+ monthly payment. Was willing to give them extra money for their silly reasoning... but the truck had many test drives, salt buildup, dirty carpet without mats down... so wasn't as new as a special order and I shot down all their logic to stay at their adjusted price. Truck has been sitting for almost three weeks. The obtuse market demand, wholesale to other dealers locate reasoning is pure greed talk. Not for me. Have never paid ADM... aside from this attempt... I never will... my money. Take control I say

Mine has been stuck in "awaiting shipment" for over 3 weeks now. The majority of people from my build week have not had their trucks ship either. I haven't got an ETA email from Ford though besides my built email. Every time I contact chat to get an update they just push the ETA out 3 days every time they miss one. I am only 4.5 hours from the plant via convoy. Seems rather stupid to have built trucks sitting at the plant that you aren't able to bill

I paid MSRP from the dealer who is a friend, but I have to be honest that this experience has been awful. I can't imagine what others are going through and dealing with who have been waiting much longer than I have.

If I ever buy another Ford truck, it'll be off the lot. Period.

The msrp deal is the ONLY reason I am sticking around (for now). I have called throughout the state of GA and the best "deal" I could find is $5000 over which I refuse to pay.
