I thought to start a thread specifically for Raptor R owners that are interested in installing PPF on their new Raptor R’s.

Ask your questions, and post your pics!!!

I’m looking to possibly install XPEL Stealth to my Raptor R when I pick it up within the next week or so.

I wanted to get everyone’s feedback regarding their overall experience/preference with the product and if you guys think it’s worth the money?

I’ve been quoted 7k for the XPEL stealth and another 1500 to ceramic coat it.

What are your thoughts?

Same question here… Given I got my EB raptor scratched on the trail, I want xpel stealth on my R. But I got a quote for 8000. Just not sure what matte azure grey looks like. Also do we still need ceramic along with xpel?

The quality of each installer can vary greatly so price is irrelevant IMO. I would go to the shop and see what kind of work they do with your own eyes. I don’t touch any shop that pre cuts everything and does a half tail job wrapping the edges.

My R will be fully wrapped too. Good luck!

Full wrap here too, but went with Modesta ceramic coat. That’s about what I paid a few years back, so seems like a good deal.

100% agree with this. The installer is everything. There should be no exposed edges whatsoever. Every mm should be wrapped well around the edge of the panel. And it should be final trimmed on the vehicle. My installer is awesome, and in SoCal. Let me know if you want his contact.

I can't remember which brand off the top of my head, but one of the top ones doesn't need ceramic on their ppf.

If you want every mm wrapped, it’s more than likely gonna run $10k+. If they quote less, definitely see their other work on trucks with around the square footage of the Raptor.

If you go on Xpel’s website and price pre-cut film, Stealth or Ultimate, it alone runs over $6500.
