Looks like there was a firmware update for the AP released today. I’ve updated the AP with it. I’m assuming that now has to be updated to the truck. What’s the process for that? Just update the map tune or does the AP have to be completely uninstalled and reinstalled?
Whenever you update the AP firmware, read the change notes to see what’s different. If there are tune-related changes they are listed such that you know. You can see the history of AP change notes on the AP manager menu and/or on the Cobb web site.

Of course, Goose will post here if there are installed map updates I’m sure.

This update says it is for the reverse sensor fault but I’m thinking it may be for when the AP is plugged in only(?). I’ve always got that message because of my bike rack on the truck so didn’t notice it as a problem. Anyway, thanks for the help, just got it so figuring out the AP.

Finished up the tuning with Winfield on Sunday. Extremely impressed with the process and truck performance. Exactly 48hrs for the ECU unlock (from removal to reinstall) and completed 5 tune revisions in 3 days, just under 6 days from removal to final tune. The truck has great power, even before making boost which is where a lot of my daily driving is living in a city. I was already happy with the stock shifting but it is surprisingly even better now. Not that he needs it, as the hundreds of posts show, but I’ll add my praise for Winfield and Goosetuned!

Another satisfied customer of Winfield’s. 7 days total time from removal of ECU to final revision of the tune with him. Truck is much more alive and should come from the factory like this. Very impressed with him as a first time customer. Thanks Winfield!!

Makes me wonder if cooler weather is making the removal/install cover more difficult and less flexible
That was my first thought... When I work on plastic items, I either heat them up with a heat gun if it is below 60, or bring it in the garage and let it get to temp (my garage is heated).
