When I got my ATV stuck in a shallow muddy riverbed years ago, buddy of mine recommended I get a winch. But he said you need front and rear cause usually you going to want to get back out of what you got into. I got the type that inserted into a modified trailer hitch front and rear, with electrical harness in each place. It was a pretty cool setup.

I’d recommend a winch tray to attach to rear hitch. You can pull it off when not in use and I believe will attach to trailer harness for power. Use a wireless controller

This. I never understood why you'd want a winch mount that you cant work the clutch.
Correct and just to be clear on my post. Warn makes a winch with a remote activated clutch, which is what he uses in his video. On the rear winch mount he has a debris shield that basically fully encloses the winch. Only option I know of is the warn winch used in the video.

Sometimes you have to think outside the box.
