I installed the Bakflip X4S Saturday night. One of the plastic trim pieces was DOA so I called Bakflip today and they have new ones coming. Great customer service, which is becoming harder to come across these days.

I had the Retrax on my Gen2 and was looking for something that took up less space in the bed. So far this seems to do the trick but we’ll see how it holds up.
Yup my left plastic piece snapped off as well. It’s the only negative to the cover IMO. Horribly engineered part.

Full Hennessey Velociraptor 600 build just completed today. On its way home from Texas. Went with the 37's and powered Retrax as well.
Did you get a sound system out on this? Feel like I saw it in an install video recently.

Changed my oil today 1st time on a ford let alone on a raptor. It was def a pain taking off the skids and the one long bolt that holds the two skids together was crossed threaded from that factory so that really chapped my ass. All in all went ok besides the bolt and tinner min nut that goes into the frame. So before the next change I’ll be ordering new bolts and nuts.

Installed a Evil manufacturing 3rd brake light this evening. Looks badass and simple install. Great guys there, order took a while but I think that has been corrected. Accidentally got white lenses, emailed this evening (Thanksgiving eve) and they called within 5 mins and fixed the issue Will mail out ambers asap 3BE9B019-ADCE-4518-8C1A-1B607F9B57AD.jpeg

Why did you take off skids? Filter was definitely a pain due to idiotic engineering, but I was able to do it all without taking off skids?
