I normally insist on a moonroof because I like them. The '15+ Ford trucks are the one time I might skip the feature because of how fragile they are--easily the least reliable sunroof I've ever seen. Ford be blaming 'lack of sunroof maintenance' like anyone that owns any other car does anything of the sort.

How much maintenance are you guys doing on your power windows? That's how silly it sounds to blame the owners for the unreliable F150 sunroofs.
I have to say I think the sunroof maintenance thing is pretty funny. I have a '98 V70R I've had since new with a sunroof. No rattles, no issues, ever. You want to guess how much maintenance I've done on it? I purposely avoided the sunroof on my Raptor build, and I'm glad I did. I knew it would very seldom get used and I don't need to volunteer for a possible problem down the road.

Mine does Raptor things. For example, it gets me to work & back...pretty narly, huh. What cool thing(s) does your Raptor do?
If Raptors come with a moonroof, we are all grandfathered in for doing Raptor things with a moonroof. Duh. It's a hard sale to get the wife and her girlfriends to go topless hanging out of one of the side windows.

Yeah, once the girls reach a certain age, the frontal protuberances hang low enough to risk nipple rash from the road. Much better to flop them on the roof. ;)

Had the plastic lego tracks go in one year on a brand new F150 sport. I think the rings my six packs are held together with are made of stronger plastic ! I will never have another, it was fun if I was drunk and the old lady was driving though !

You're better off without it. Saves a few pounds and will not lighten your wallet when it starts leaking.

My wife's 2019 Chrysler 300 (always garaged) sunroof started leaking and it was $900+ to repair.
