So “acting like a ****” is stating things you don’t agree with? I’m perfect chill brah .. I’m not the one calling people ***** for stating facts.
It's stating things in an offensive way. Are they facts? Who cares? When you act like a diçk, no one does. You're just making noise. I call them díçkish noises, but that's just my opinion. Because of my opinion, I give yours zero weight. But maybe I'm overvaluing it. :)

What that I said was offensive and who was it offensive to? …or are you not stating that purposely because “you’re just making noise”?

If you read my other posts I say there is a sweet spot. As you said it’s situational and off-roading can mean more than one thing. The Raptor for example would be used differently than a Wrangler. My Jeep was a slug with 3.73s , 35s and the 5 speed Auto. I now have 4.56s and it’s night and day. I also added larger brakes which most people don’t consider when adding rotational mass. I don’t even want to know how many Jeeps are running 37s with stock brakes and axles shafts. Again there’s a sweet spot and for what the Raptor is built for on the street and occasional offroad the 35s are the way to go. We’re not bringing our factory trucks to run some pro course so 37s and above as far as I’m concerned in most situations have zero benefits.

..and that’s all I got to say about that.
I ran heavy AF 38 trail grapplers on my diesel JL with stock 3.73 and axles. The diesel’s torque certainly helped so just axle ratio isn’t the only thing to consider. Also, going from a 35 to a 37” ko2 is barely a jump in drive-ability. I did it when I first got my original Jeep and I noticed nothing.

Yup ..that’s why I also mentioned the 5 speed auto. I said the same thing about seat of the pants between both stock sizes on a Raptor. On a Jeep it depends on the yr/engine/gear ratio and weight of the wheel and tire combo. It was most definitely noticeable to me and braking was obviously degraded.

Has anyone quantified the exact weight difference of the 37 wheel/tire and the 35 wheel/tire? Of course there are lots of other variables as others have pointed out in this comparison and it mostly comes down to your use case as has been said many times.

There may certainly be a slightly different "feel" with 37s vs 35s the same way a carbon fiber race car wheel (or one available on a GT350R or C8 Z06) would "feel" a bit different than even a high quality forged wheel...but real life day-to-day numbers difference in speed seem to be negligible (like 0.1 difference in 0-60 times; 5.2 vs. 5.1) and braking distance from 70-0 is actually 14 ft shorter in the 37 truck because of larger contact patch I would imagine. So this all comes down to use case and what specific performance you want - clearance, approach/departure angle, onroad nimblessness etc.

Here is the weight of the 35 on a OEM beadlock capable.

I bought a 35 because I really don't like the blue interior. Yes, I've seen it in person many times, just not my cup of tea. If I could have gotten the black interior with the 37 package, I probably would have.

I ended up getting some OEM wheels and tires from another member on here. Based on my own experience off-roading pretty extensively on 35s in dirt and sand (both OEM and Methods), and my experience at Raptor Assault, the 37s do feel better off-road. I can't really tell much of a difference on the street/freeway. I will say I was initially worried acceleration would suffer too much, but it's been pretty negligible.

Looks do matter! I like my black interior and fuller wheel wells.

interesting take. how do they "feel better" specifically? ive heard the 35 is more of a baja runner. which is honestly all i care about.
im sure the 37 would do better crawling and getting over obstacles

Hmm by "better", I'd specifically say it feels more comfortable/cushy off-road than the 35s do, which inspires some confidence. I wouldn't say it's dramatically different, but noticeable enough I could tell the difference. Same with the acceleration - feels a little quicker on 35s, but not dramatically different. Funny enough, I don't feel much more confident doing any rock crawling in 37s vs 35s.
