GEN 1 Eibach +3 front springs

Has anyone had any issues with the driver side cv axle after installing the Eibach springs on bottom perch? I had the inner cv joint tear up once I put the truck in 4Hi , just wondering if this is an issue others have had to deal with.

how would it get torn up? unless you damaged a boot during install. (yeah, i did that) ended up getting some new boots and replacing them. basically doing the job twice. putting the truck in 4 doesnt change the fact the axle is still spinning regardless of 2 or 4. the iwe and vacuum engage or disengage the hub so its always spinning no matter what. so it had to be some sort of damage to the boot.

So Im new to the spring game. During an oil change I noticed my stock coil spring was broke. So replacing it with the Eibachs after much research. My question is that my shocks are set at the mid perch level, can I leave them there and install the Eibach springs and it will be fine? My truck is just a daily driver, not really an off road truck. Appreciate any advice

I just installed Eibachs a few days ago. On low-perch. If you put at mid-perch it will have more pre-load and ride higher than the truck in the photo above your post. It rides like butter on low-perch!

I put mine on low and my truck looks like the one above, but I am installing Icon leaf springs tomorrow which should level it out, or maybe even 1-inch higher in the rear. Eibach recommends low-perch, especially if just a daily driver. Will drive MUCH better that way.
