Those rear shocks are supposed to give you an extra inch of travel because of the mounting location right ?

I thought I read it somewhere, but now I can't find it. I know on a Gen 1 they added three inches of travel with the RXTs and shocks, from 12 to 15 inches. Below is from ICON.
