thank you all for your donations. lets keep them coming. this is our second to last item for raffle so get in on the last little bit.

we will have 2 seperate raffles after the next item. since these are specific, it will not be included in this main raffle. @LuckyKnuckle36 has said that if there was enough interest, he would donate his brand new 2022 raptor rims and split the shipping cost with the potential winner. maybe @FordTechOne could verify that these work on all gen raptors, but i believe they do. thank you so much @LuckyKnuckle36 for wanting to donate.

also justin @Pacific Wheel reached out to method and they offered a buy 2 get 2 free on any of their non race wheels. if you are wanting a smoking deal on some rims, a small donation could win you that opportunity.

so if there is enough interest we will hold a raffle for these 2 items individually after this main raffle is over
I’m in on the new Raffel also, give a date to donate to get NEW NUMBERS for the additional items being donated by some Amazing Folks. Thank you so much for your heartfelt generosity….
Noah you may have to text me with specific instructions….you know I’m easily confused :rolleyes::headbang:

Just scrolling through reading things I need to know, and I ran across a post that was op and Jim, only two items on the thread…it reminded me that I didn’t know Jim, but I along with so many others here were touched by him.

I also went to the GoFundMe page and donations have dwindled to a trickle. I’m going back there to help a little more. My interest is in helping not being rewarded with a truck mod/accessory, I’m certain y’all feel the same way, so let’s all get back to the GoFundMe page and complete the goal.
thank you. while there is no real goal to the amount being raised, we had to put a number as a goal. every little bit helps the family with the final expenses left by the result of his passing. jims family is so very thankful for what has already been donated.

up next is our final item. @Chris@FreedomMotorsports and @Rick@FMS have donated a brake upgrade kit. they have a kit that will fit all gen raptors. chris has spent a lot of time putting this kit together and will definitely be an upgrade for your truck. this is a $1000 upgrade. a very generous donation by the freedom motorsports group. check it out. https://freedommotorsports.com/ford...reedom-motorsports-performance-brake-package/

we are going to run this until friday night. with such a huge donation from these guys, i want everyone to get a chance to get in on this raffle. again, for those of you who have already donated, you can donate again to better your odds. i know everyone needs brake pads and rotors, so heres your chance to win an awesome prize. lets get those donations in

also would like to thank everyone who has donated and has not been a part of the raffle. your donations speaks volumes. we thank you very much.

Hi all, I peruse the RFR site often. Admittedly, I am a TRX owner only because Ford did not put a V8 in the gen3 like I thought they would when they announced Feb 3rd of 2021. So, I went with the Ram (and have no regrets at all !!). The only reason I joined FRF was because we had a dude (Bambi) on the TRX forum point a few of us towards this forum. Granted, it was mostly for trolling in a fun and bantering kind of way. He was (and still is) the #1 poster on the TRX forum such as #CoronaRaptor on FRF. He lost his life back in Oct of 2021 and it affected many of us on the TRX forum. The forum has not been the same without him. Regardless, my thoughts go out to Jim and his family during this difficult time. I just donated to the Go Fund Me site and I will share this link on the TRX forum as well. Just because you all like an inferior truck does not mean we can’t get along!! In all seriousness, I would not mind being invited to the trip that is planned with the FRF guys if you don’t mind a TRX being in the group. It would be great to have a Raptor R there but that is very unlikely considering…well, you know why.
RIP Jim

The other part people sweep under the rug is Bambi was a lifelong addict that was put out in the middle of nowhere living in a mobile home on one of his father's remote rural properties to try and stay out of trouble. He had more money from the family business than most will ever have but continuously threw it away. Did some looking into his background and drugs were what fueled this poor fool who denied being a user and paid the ultimate price.

I’m sorry to hear this. Addiction and depression are powerful foes that far too many of us underestimate. I’ve lost 2 friends to suicide. One of those losses I missed a pretty obvious sign and I just took it for granted. I’ve known and worked with substance addicted people in the past, one of whom passed from liver damage caused by alcohol abuse.

Say something if you think someone you know might be at risk.

Thanks for your input Dave, it is nice to see that he is still affecting you even after his death. Not to derail Jim’s thread though. The extra bump does help a good cause. ✌️
