Hello all,

I just heard from my dealer that my truck was sent from the Dearborn plant to "Flat Rock", thats the only info he had. A quick google found that Flat Rock, Mi is about 20 miles south of Dearborn. Does anyone know what exactly happens here? Possibly inspection and shipping? If so, it seems inefficient to move the truck and have to take it back if there is an issue.... That being said, I wouldn't put it past them.

Any thoughts or info is greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your support in these trying times. Stay strong, brothers.

I believe that’s where the rail yard is… is your truck going somewhere it may be shipped by rail?

Nice, thats good info. Its coming to Houston and the window sticker shows that it will be sent by rail, so thats potentially good news! Thanks for the input.

Mine just left Flat Rock last week. Get the rail car # from the dealer VVR. The dealer can track the shipment or you can't try yourself with the freight company

My last update was Carrier Delay - Flat Rock, MI. But my sticker says Convoy, not Rail. A quick Google search showed F150s being stored on a lot across from the Flat Rock plant, and you can even see a ton of Trucks parked there using Google Maps Satellite view

So it sounds like the truck is actually built and is relatively near shipment. Considering its been "in production" for 4 months, i'll take it! Thank you guys for the info!

I know the spray in liner happens somewhere else outside the ford building factory. Possibly that’s it ?
