It's also not as easy as you think to remove these. You'll need 4 wrenches to do it. 2 of each size as there are 2 different size bolts. Crooks want to get in/get out.

Trust me. I know. I installed these twice now :)

A guy asked me similarly if I was worried about my tires being stolen out of the bed rack. I offered that if they were able to do it, they earned it because they’re a solid 105 pounds each, ratchet tied and without a fob or key, the tailgate isn’t opening for them.

If they want your lights bad enough, the’ll get them with a pair of lineman’s pliers and a reciprocating saw.

I’m not so sure that’s right. Now I’ve been wrong in the past but don’t tell my wife. Lol. Seems to me the light bracket is attached to the bracket that comes up next to fender with one bolt.

Exactly. If they really want it, they’re going to get it.

And while this may sound wimpy, I’ve always lived by the credo I’d rather lose something when I’m not there than with a gun to my head.

Have you done the videos? I know life is busy. Just asking. Ty.
Vivid air release tint? Where did you place that? On lights or on hood?
I hate to admit it but no, I've been gone for work for a few months. It's still on my to-do list. I placed the mirror tint on the inside of the 3d printed SDHQ blinder which keeps the light from shinning over the hood on the inside.

Are those support brackets on the SDHQ mounts installed correctly? I think they’re supposed to be on the inside of the bracket not in between the fender and bracket.
Can you be more specific on what you mean, or maybe link a pic? ty.

Meters???? I know in a previous profession you probably used the metric system, but this if freedom unit country….

Did you block off the side shooters over the hood?

I have XL80’S and I've been around some trucks with the LP4s.. I just think they're a bit big for up there myself...

That support bracket is supposed to be mounted to the inside of the main bracket. Between the rubber cowl and main bracket, not between the the fender and bracket. If you did that because the original hardware didn’t allow it to be mounted correctly, SDHQ has updated the hardware or you can just go to a hardware store and get smaller diameter washers.
