Hey all-

Interested what others have done for suspension replacement around 50k miles with the stock Fox shocks. I have a 2020 Gen 2 and interested in options that are worthwhile taking into consideration pricing for it.

What have others paid to have them redone? Has anyone found a good replacement / refurb supplier?

What have you paid for new fox shocks replacement? Is it worth just upgrading to the 3.0?

When its time for mine, I'll probably do a shock exchange with this guy/shop - https://shocksbyhammer.com/gen2raptors.html . I've talked to him once and he seemed pretty knowledgeable with fair pricing, and he's got good reviews from other forum members here.

As far as the 3.0s - I've never driven or ridden in a truck with them so I'm not sure if they're worth the price tag or not.

Hey Chris,

If you are looking to upgrade to the Factory Race Series Live Valve 3.0's, we have a set of front and rear in stock.

Give us a call!
Will give a call definitely.

Does anyone know how much OEM live valve shocks can be resold for (pre-refurb)? Just trying to gauge potential resale value (knowing good quality and not beat or heavily used).

I purchased an extra set of live valves with Eibach springs on the fronts from a local member for $1K.

I have the 3.0 FRS Live Valves w/ Camburg bump stop and Deaver 3+HD and the 3.0s are probably the best value when it comes to improved performance for the cost. Mid travel would be next and the price increases exponentially for that kind of modification. Another option is to get your existing OEM Live Valves rebuilt and buy the SDI E-Clik which will maximize the stock set up.

I have a 2018 (so not the live valve) and just did the fronts with 70K miles.
I researched a couple of online advertisers that rebuild (hammer was one, texas off road was another) and after shipping, etc. it was around $500 for the pair of fronts (like $900 for all 4), and found a local shop that rebuilds Fox and Kings for $400 per pair. The killer for me was the wait time, from 3 weeks to 2 months, and that's me taking off mine to have rebuilt and being out that time.
I went ahead and bought a complete pair new with Geiser 2.5" coils and did it my self. All of the shock parts with new dust boots, top hats, nuts came in just about $950 for parts, the springs were another $599. I had a local tire/suspension shop install the springs for $125 (I tried 2 different compressors, the old school outside jaws were dangerously flexing, the cage style was bending before I could get the Geisers even close to fitting).
Install from start to finish after springs on was just under 3 hours....that's changing truck/jeep around putting on jack stands, tool prep and clean up. Best quote I got from a shop to do it with me providing all the parts was $600.

I did consider Fox 3.0s, but the best price for the fronts alone was $2700, so after everything with new OE/Geisers I am into it $1,624 for complete front setup and parts.
