The day finally came. It arrived on my 40th bday. Ordered October 1st. I signed on the dotted line for $74,535 with a ($1000 deposit). My new window sticker shows $77,270 includes the $50 for auto start / stop removal. That's a difference of $2735. The price increase was $3300. The numbers are not working out here? What am I missing that I have a difference of $2735. The blue cruise was also discounted, but is represented in the new window sticker.

I have the following YouTube information along with the Price Protection PDF (included below). Am I providing the correct materials to get this Price Protected? The dealer wanted proof, but I'm worried that since the numbers don't match they will find a loophole.

I might just have to eat the 3k, but it would kill me inside to give the dealer the money when I know people on this forum are being protected from this. Any help or documents you can give me would be greatly appreciated. The sales woman is my friend's mom and is worried now about getting in trouble at work or fired even. So I may really just have to eat the $3k, but I feel if I present reasonable information, how could the manager be upset? Manger claims even when he sells it at MSRP he is losing money for some reason, so there may not be any talking sense into this guy. Let it be a lesson learned about ordering through friends and family if you are reading this.

I think the math works out, there was an $880 increase before the $3300 increase. Might have been a change in destination - but rounds to near the difference with the bluecruise discount.

Just show him the sheet and say they can reinvoice for prior base price and with 801a price reduction so it’s literally no hit to their profit and is a good way to do business.

They have margin at MSRP, only thing he’s losing on is ADM opportunity. Just counter that they are gaining a sale to an original retail order holder and are likely to receive more allocations because of that.

Another option to get this sorted out would be to contact the Ford Customer Relationship Center: 800-392-3673

Furthermore…purchasing a Raptor for the correct and/or agreed to price should have no bearing on personal relationships.

The document the OP attached is all that should be needed. Ford will not re-invoice the truck. I sent that document to my dealer and they confirmed it was legit and I paid the price that was on my order form.

Ok so manger called back and apologized saying he had no idea it was a $2735 increase which he says was a big deal. Says he also "chewed out the regional rep" and that they owe me an apology. They claim I have to pay the sticker price that is currently listed and then once the dealer gets the refund of the $2735 they will issue me a check. I have not heard of anyone else on the forum do this method. He also says it's a 50/50 chance that I get the money back and that "he wanted to be honest with me" because ford may not refund the money, therefore it has to be me taking the gamble and not them. I read about terrible buying experiences the past 8 months while I waited for mine to come in, and now this seals the deal. Some of these dealers are honest and some just aren't. Ford is a shitshow for sure. If it weren't for the Raptor, I would have walked away already.

100% correct but I guess Im just a nice guy too and value the friendship I have with my buddy and his mom. It's not like she gave me a huge discount or anything. I paid MSRP lol
