For those that are price protected the stealerdealership is supposed to perform an internal accounting step to discount the truck $3,300 from the MSRP. The window sticker will show the higher price.

The dealer has absolutely no incentive to be honest and loose 3K. I just figured that Ford would be the most effective avenue.
It all depends on the dealership.

The GM of the dealership I'm purchasing from just called me yesterday. They initially offered to split the difference with me on the $3300, which I agreed to with my sales guy. However, the GM later changed his mind after remembering me as a prior customer and said he will honor the original sticker/MSRP prior to the price increase.
Effectively, he's saying he's going to fight the fight with Ford to get this taken care of, and absorb that cost if it comes to that. I also told him of my experience with Ford customer service.

Curious if those getting the dealership to honor the price protection are getting credit for both the $880 December increase and the $3300 February increase. My understanding was price protection on the $880 if ordered before 12/27/2021 and on the $3300 if ordered before 2/14/2022. My October 19th order has both increases ($4180) added to my window sticker. Waiting until I get a little closer to delivery to discuss with my dealer.

My dealer confirmed, "we will give you the original price that you signed up for with your order dated 10/19", minus the $1395 difference for the removal of BC from the 801a.

MSRP deal. Yes, there are some reputable dealers out there! Build day tomorrow!

I went round and round with the GM where I bought my truck since it is finally shipped and the end result was take it at the new MSRP or we can cancel your deal and sell the truck to someone else. I'm sure it would be sold with a very large ADM for them if I had cancelled it. I told them that I will just pay the new MSRP and be done with it. After my truck is in my hands I plan to write Ford a nasty email. Not that it will do any good but it will make me feel better.
