Looks like Ram is picking up more customers than Ford is picking up more customers in the last few years.

Are you getting that from statistical numbers or just seeing more Rams out on the street then F-150s?

I don't see them changing much up in the Raptor R but maybe a little more front suspension changes due to the heavier engine. Any of you think they will make some major suspension changes to the R then the normal GEN 3s?
Do you guys think Ford will stop offering the 37 package on the regular raptor once the R comes out.

Nope. It's about milking as much money as possible from customers. Expensive options and strange combinations of option packages are here to stay. Options are the money makers. I was part owner of an equipment manufacturer and I can tell you that the margin on options is ten times the margin on the base product. At least for us, and looking at the auto business I have no reason to suspect that it works differently for them. I'm happy to sit back and let the probe units figure out all the details and debug the beta units. A couple of years from now I can make my call: G3 800a, G3 800a and add 37s, G3 w/stock 37s, or keep the G2. It's nice to have options and time.

From the chart that another member just posted in this thread and I was referring to the Canadian sales in response to the other members statistical chart provided.

I’ve seen before where Dodge has been eating into Ford’s truck dominance, so it’s not just superficial observation. Dodge has been chipping away at sales in the truck market steadily over the years. We can scoff at them all we want, but they’re bringing some of what consumers want to the market.
- would Ford really have mucked about with the F150 interior but not for all the 12” infotainment screen shaming they got?

Im stuck between wanting a Raptor R or a Maverick Raptor. It seems like Ford is going down the road of BMW "M" and Toyota "TRD" on everything.

They also could be planning to do a sub-brand(ing) that may or may not apply if they limit production of each model to 5,000 vehicles or less per year. No more than 15,000 across the sub-brand. I haven't read up on this recently but I believe it allows Tier 3 compliance with EPA emissions vs the stricter standards of today.

I like the Ranger Raptor but I think at this point I would stop making so many trims and focus on getting vehicles out the door. Cut some of these trim levels & integrate options packages/engine choices accordingly

If you are financing then expect at least 5%-7% on a 60 month loan with Tier 1 credit in a couple of years.
