Just cruising around (no not in my Raptor) the Forum and happened upon this section sponsored by Whipple. I know ZERO about this stuff but have heard the name and seems to be a major supplier of superchargers. So why hasn't there been a post here in close to 4 years? How come no one here has installed one? If it gives the TRX 700hp, what can it do for the Raptor, aside from void the warranty an blow the hood off?

Probably because gas is expensive and the gen 1s are getting up in mileage, no bueno to install a s/c on high mileage motors. You can't even get a motor either these days. I wouldn't dare put one on mine now with the motor supply issues and it cost over 10k just for the parts up here.

I'm sure owners are still buying them though.

Well I'm even dumber than I thought. I was thinking it would go on a Gen2 or Gen3.

Pretty sure you can't do a supercharger in addition to a TT. Those looking for more power in a Gen 2 or 3 are going to go with a tune, bigger intercooler, bigger turbos, etc.

They just released a twin turbo add on to the TRXs supercharger. I believe it was “ripatuned” that installed it. Makes over 1000 HP now.
