I do love it, the fender flares for me I am not really liking but damn it is a sweet set up. No hate here all love. But a little fender tease never hurt anyone :). Come join us over at Bronco Raptor Forum

What should Ford have done differently with the fender flares? I get why people don't like it, but I haven't seen anyone give an alternative yet. They clearly wanted to push it wide enough to accommodate 37s and require markers, so given that what do they do?

Expanding the entire body is obviously a no go for cost reasons. Perhaps they could have bumped the whole fender out, as they do with Raptor...but that's cost and would probably be received just as poorly. It's possible too that some Bronco accessories and such wouldn't be compatible on the Bronco Raptor if they did that.

I would have liked to see wide body fenders just like what they do on F150 Raptors and smaller flares. So you get the width in the actual fender "hips" not just all flare. The aftermarket already has them for the standard bronco. My understanding is they couldn't fit the Bronco in the paint booth at the plant that builds the Bronco & ranger if they did that, so they added non painted flares at the end of production...

I haven't seen that. Just seems like it would look strange being that the flare pretty much takes up the whole fender. It can't be a gradual, 15-20% increase in width, it's much closer to 90%.

Yea, that would be a huge cost.

My thought is they did it like they did because they made them removable for serious off road and to be easily replaced if damaged. If they flared the sheet metal it would be subject to damage. I think it was the right call. Again, this model is not made for mall crawling, although you can, so aesthetics probably was not the first thought, function was.

Color me weird, but I have never liked the Bronco. In any of it's incarnations, including this one. Maybe because I'm an engineer and that part of me can't get behind totally impractical vehicles. Jeeps, same same, except that I have always actively hated Jeeps. Impractical, but dangerous and unreliable to boot. Kinda like a really crappy version of a Bronco. ;)
Reminds me of the old joke.

How do you know someone's an engineer?

You don't have to know, they will tell you.

They have their place for sure, but all 4WD Wranglers and old 4WD Broncos suck on the road. The new Broncos drive fine on the street, they are IFS. Pimped out Rangers.

Love the look and specs for sure.

Disappointed in the lack of creativity for the name. This is an unnecessary watering down of the Raptor name in my opinion.
who says this is watering down the Raptor name? if its just a capable then it deserves the name. but yes the warthog would sound cool but i totally understand why the call it the raptor too. Brand recognition will help it sell
