Okay guys this was too good and works too good not to share. First here is the set up.

SVC bumps
Gen 2 3.0’s
Icons leafs setting 2
Camburg 1.5 shackles
Custom shock mount
Brake line drop bracket

So out of that the bump kit was the most but the truck works so good. The Shocks must be moved up about 3/4 of an inch so they don’t max. This is because of the bump kit allows more up travel. You must use a shackle too to achieve this as it lets the axle go forward allowing you to gain travel with a stockish shock.

Nicely done, how much pressure do you run in your bumps and how much of the stroke are you regularly using?

I know you said it before, but would the person who fabricated those upper shock mounts by willing to make another set and mail them to California? I can weld them on, I just need the pieces.

I’m basically running everything that you are, I am just running a GEN two rear shock on the stock mount.

Any chance you could post more photos of that top mount? Like the sides and maybe some measurements? Gonna bend some 1/4” plate next weekend and try my hand at a similar setup.

If you arnt adjusting their lower shock mount as well I would highly recommend some limit straps. After moving the upper mount higher max droop will happen sooner. Depending on the relationship of the Deaver rate to the shock extension you potentially could excessively wear/damage the shock tube. I’d grab some limit straps and run them just to remove any risk of damaging the shocks.

My .2cents, awesome job I love seeing people push the limits and finding innovative ways to build these trucks.

I’ll ask. The problem is it was pretty custom the way we cut them.

I talked to SVC and icon. They both said the stock gen 2’s are designed to be maxed and hold
The weight of the axle. I got to say the SVC guys know their stuff

Not doubting they have reason behind their statement. But a fully built race shock with much greater strength still has limit straps and bump stops for a reason. Save the expensive parts the wear and let the $50 strap take the beating.
