I was messing around with the drive modes and camera operation.

I found that in normal driving mode you can look at the bed camera, Rear camera and Hitch view at any speed.

Another cool thing is the option to have the bed camera in the side screen.67BA8016-F718-4B2F-89EC-B1DC738089F2.jpeg

Baja Mode opens up all of the cameras and at any speed.
So you can do 360, Front, Rear etc. with no speed limitations. It aslo puts guidelines up front which is kinda cool.IMG_4383.jpg

Can you, new owners, provide some feedback on the brakes and pedal feel? I am curious as to how soft it feels or maybe it is relatively firm. Any issues with braking distances thus far?

Thank you in advance.

No issues with me.

I'm use to wearing dress shoes, and athletics shoes shoes, but yesterday I had weightlifting shoes on and I usually don't drive with these - They are very heavy. Brake pedal felt extremely easy to press with my weightlifting shoes, probably because I was over pressurizing the pedal with the heavier shoes - same amount of foot applied force, but the heavier shoes made the force greater. I felt it immediately on the stop sign of the gym parking lot. Truck almost wanted to do a nose dive feeling.

Normal shoes, you are fine, feels normal just as any other truck. Or you just have to get use to it if you wear heavy shoes, but you would already be accustomed to heavy shoes/driving.

Man, this question is so relative to what you are used to driving and also personal preference. The only way I can answer this in a helpful way is that no, I haven't had any issues with braking distance.

I'm actually wondering if you can split off the signals to a Raspberry Pi and SSD to record all the cameras similar to a dashcam. Would be super helpful during accidents or parking lots,
All of the cameras show to supply the feed via coax to the IPMA except for the High mounted stop lamp. That uses the regular lin/+/-/ and sheild.

For the Gen 2 Raptors, the screen is feed by a single LVDS cable (that's hard to come by). If you could get a splitter for that, and be able to connect to a Pi... maybe. But that would be just a mirror image of your screen, not the cameras regardless of what's on screen.

So you would need to split off the cameras themselves. However, are the cameras always on? I would not be surprised if they don't start recording until you trigger them to display on the screen. And if that's the case, I don't know that you would want to trigger them to run all the time, causing them to possibly fail sooner than expected, and not covered by warranty.

Cool idea, just not sure it would work.

I kind of like the idea of mirroring the main screne completely. Could put a second monitor in the back seat or something.
