I am surprised that Black Agate is doing so poorly. What is main the reason that most are shying away from black? Appearance on the Raptor or keeping truck looking clean?
I got Black. Saw it in person, looks SICK without the graphics! Just beautiful and flows with the blue or black interior.

Yes, you have to keep it clean but I do that after every outing anyways. When its clean though, its beautiful and stands out with the gray accents.

I love black trucks. My current Expedition EL Limited is black and sexy AF. I simply fell in love with AMB. Looks black at night and in the shade. Looks deep blue in the sun. If it wasn't for AMB, I would have ordered black.

So I was expecting around the $10k range because of RaptorsOfInsta's comment on one of his YouTube videos. But i got a quote for the whole truck minus the grille and bumpers for $7500.

Some go for 37s, I go for Xpel. lol
That was right around what I was estimating.

Have you used XPEL Stealth on a previous vehicle? Assuming it will give a very satin/matte finish?

Yes. My current truck has the xpel stealth film on the gray parts of the grille, front bumper, and fender flares. It’s some nice stuff.

I also have the Xpel clear film on the hood, front fenders, headlights, and lower part of the doors. The clear stuff is the way to go if you have a color that wouldn’t look good in satin.
