I’m planning on doing some off grid camping in the Appalachian Mountains this week. I will be towing my off road camper. I have had a few weird shifts lately but from reading nothing mentions this TSB will fix that. By not having the TSB done I can’t damage anything right.

Not sure why your whole post is in bold, but no, this TSB has nothing to do with any bad shifts you may be having. And, just because you don't get the TSB done, that doesn't mean your truck is impervious to any damage...something else can always go wrong.

Now I feel like you're just ******** with me! haha
No but I did feel really stupid on the bold text post. I could build a kick a** mopar power plant back in the 1960 to 70 years. Now I’m just a old man clueless on these new trucks especially the Raptor.

So if the rattle is already present are they going to do the TSB first and see if that helps? I called 2 dealerships, told both it is rattling, and both said bring it in for the TSB. But this thread indicates its only if the rattle isn't there?

Edit: Found my answer. The reprogramming is done regardless.

‘17 w 44k miles. Phaser rattle for the last 3-4k miles—in for repair. They told me they will do the software update, let it sit a day, start it to hear the rattle, and proceed with true fix thereafter. They acted like they had to do it this way to get it fixed under warranty as I offered up the cold start videos I made to document the rattle. Hoping it gets done right.

I'm getting this done next week. I have the Cobb tune. Obviously I will uninstall it before I bring it in. Any update on if I should reinstall afterwards? I'm not sure if reinstalling will wipe out/over write what the TSB is doing?? I know guys said they've reinstalled the tune after the TSB w/o issue but are they overwriting the TSB update by doing this? Should I be waiting on a Cobb update?
