if someone seriously wants it, I will go look at it for them if asked nicely. I'm not familiar with that particular car lot, but it's on the way to my garage.

a friend of mine recently bought a very clean, 15K mile 19 Scab for 40K, so deals can still be had if you shop smart.
That’s nuts if it had any options and a clean title. Even a base for that price seems out of bounds.

My Raptor Sticker Price was $74,000
I paid $68,000 in March of last year
One year and 10,000 miles later a dealer just offered me $71,000

Sleep well! It’s good to know the trucks value is great in these crazy times.

I just sold my 2012 Gen 1 Screw with 80,000 miles to a wholesaler for $30k and picked up a friends 2012 Gen 1 with 35k miles for $45k. Both loaded and in great shape. His is literally brand new...garaged, wrapped, ceramic coated, never seen salt and barely ever rain. Pretty amazing to drive a truck for 9 years and then get more than half of what you paid for it back, only to pick up the same but with less than half the use for an additional $15k. It will bridge me to the next V8 and I bet I get no less than $40k for it when I am ready to sell it in 18-24 months.

I am going to disagree with you on your assumption. Raptors over the last couple of years have not lost any value whatsoever. All other trucks regardless of manufacturer has lost value year over year. I paid $39,600 for a 14’ Screw with 79k miles. The problem is supply and demand. And when the 21’s as well as the R model hits....prices will actually go up on the gen 1’s and Gen 2’s. Better get while the getting is good.
And I’ll have to disagree that Raptors haven't lost value over the past couple of years. I sold mine for less than I paid for it and therefore it had lost value. I also know CarMax sold it for less than I paid for mine in April of 2019, and I paid under MSRP. But you’re exactly right about supply and demand, and the supply will be dictated upon the number of Raptor owners who decide to jump to the 21... whenever that’ll be. I’m sticking with my opinion that the market will get somewhat flooded when the new Raptor comes out, and as everyone has already said, supply and demand. But hey, I’m still a sucker for a good deal so I’m looking now. :)

While none of us have a crystal ball...I'm of the same opinion of you. Prior to the past few months, used Raptors were selling for much less than people paid hence they lost value, especially in late 19/early 20 when most people were getting between invoice and a few thousand below MSRP for brand new ones. I do agree Raptors depreciation is the best of any truck and will continue to do so in the future. Used prices now are reflective of a perfect storm of market conditions (model changeover creating limited supply, Covid, govt printing money like water and associated low interest rates) will will change like they always do and normalize, but when is anyone's guess. Conditions can change rapidly these days.

I bought my 19 in March of last year, prices were elevated then, maybe not as bad as now. Anyway, the truck was on the lot and had everything I wanted but CF and that wasn't a deal breaker. The dealer wanted $7000 over sticker and I laughed at the sales person and said "why in the hell would I do that?" She had the nerve to tell me they were getting that much in CA (I live in Utah). I just laughed again and hung up. Just kind of forgot about it. Lo and behold, 4 days later, she called and offered me the truck for $5000 UNDER the sticker price. I had to laugh again, I told her call me back when it hits $7000 under. Figured I wouldn't hear from them again (didn't care). Well, 2 more days later, they call again and offer me $6000 under. I bought it. Truck stickered for $71,000 and change.

I am Selling my 2020 Agate Black 802A scab. RPG in California is currently working on it. She has 1100 miles. Bought in May of 2020 and became a garage queen. She went to get work done beginning of December 2020. Still being worked on. Everything underneath is chrome moly including the differential. Equipped with every upgrade RPG has to offer.(too many to list). We reinforced everything! From the frame to lower control arms attachment points to prevent them from bending under heavy stress. She will have 39" KM3s. You will never see one with this type of upgrade. I wanted her to be super tough and Baha ready. Im not here to deceive nor mislead anyone. Just someone who saved up for his dream truck and wanted every upgrade to make her one of a kind. If interested,
