Shuts off after startup

Today, I was getting my normal Dr. Pepper Fix in the morning at the gas station. I went to leave and started the truck put it in drive and went about 3 feet and it shut off. Tried to start it back up 4 or 5 times and the same thing. It would start and then shut off. I finally shut everything off and opened the driver door to shut everything off and it started and I was able to get to work. Mine is a 2019 Raptor with 10K miles. Any thoughts?

I was able to drive to work and lunch and home, but I turned off the Auto start/stop. Going to the dealer in the morning for an oil change.

did you notice the CEL, even flashing and going out?

No mods. CEL never came on. Dealer said no codes where in the computer today.

That is vexing. This makes me suspect something mechanical; or more “basic”. I wonder what in this truck isn’t computer monitored or computer controlled...

What is also interesting. There was another new F150 right next to me. He came out of the store just behind me. He started his truck just after me as well. When he left that is when my truck started and I was able to go. It also could have been cause I shut all electrical stuff off at the same time. It was weird. Fob interference?

Something with the fuel? Clogged fuel lines, fuel pump, or impurities in the fuel would cause that.

I don’t think the truck will shut down with a marginal key; and it would at least throw a dash message “no key” and chime at you.

This is the kind of weirdness I'm afraid of with anything that has SO MUCH advanced and sophisticated electronics. It's all really cool, until there's an issue, then, not so cool. I hope you get it figured out.
