Beast truck.

Is the Whole Enchilada still loose as f... after cresting the pass? I bet.

I'm looking at flat towing my Raptor with our RV that's on order and have considered the Roadmaster Nighthawk towbar, battery charge line, brake wiring kit and the Demco invisible base plate kit and supplemental braking kit all from e-trailer. What are you using?

Yep. It was sketchy off the top of burro pass. Closed for the season now I’m guessing. Big snow day after we rode it.

I went with: blue ox tow bar and curt base plate; 6 pin connector wired through with diodes at rear lamps; breakaway connector into drivers footwell where I run a rvi brake three. Tows like a dream.

The curt base plate has the removable connectors and is identical to the blue ox, but a bit less $. I am selling mine as I am now towing off the recovery points on my after market bumper. I can save you a hundred or so if you want to buy mine. It’s in excellent condition, was on my truck for 3 mos.

SVC Mojave rear bumper, drop hitch delete, spare relocation to bed, exhaust termination after resonator. At least 6” of clearance gained.

I run the blue ox setup and SMI air force1. I’ve used RVbrake3 before but after the initial install of AF1, it’s so simple to plug and play. Diodes to the rear tail lights and everything works great.

Awesome set up man! You and I have similar set ups. My GFC was built earlier in the year. I went with the double side tent doors and no side windows on the camper like you. But the COVID shut down made it difficult for me to pick it up and I caught wind of GFC’s new hinge design, so I ended up selling it. I have a new GFC on order with the new hinge design—the new design is SO MUCH better than the original hinge design. We also have the same front ADD bumper w/ winch. Moreover, both of our trucks are red (mine is race red). Lol so great minds think alike :)

I would recommend you upgrade the leaf springs and move to a bump stop set up. The biggest weak point on these trucks are the springs. Yes, having the camper and weight in the bed helps to minimize the rear end from kicking out, but leaf springs will make a night and day difference in handling the weight and keeping the rear end planted for on and off-road use. Trust me, it will change the driving dynamics for the better without sacrificing the comfortable on-road ride.

So I’m looking to go to Deavers or Ikons in the rear. I want to mainting ride quality. Thinking of going to a +2.

I’ve lost clearance in the front. Any recommendations from n how to get lift on the front without losing ride quality. I think I’ve lost 1-2” up front.
