Curious if anyone has thought about how the Gen 3 ended up with the Rigid lights option. If you think about Rigid is likely to make a ton of money off of this deal. Not really because of revenue from Ford for putting them on the Raptor. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Rigid is selling them to Ford at a loss. There going to make a ton of money because anyone in a Raptor is going to be considering Rigid when it's time to add more lights. Probably everyone with an F150, because all the F150 owners like to copy Raptors. That will surely generate a lot of sales that were not there previously.

Really, it's a lot of advertising for probably not much cost. I wonder if Rigid approached Ford with the idea. Or did Ford bid out the spot for fog lights and Rigid won the contract?

How does that price compare to a setup cobbled together from Baja Designs or one of the other aftermarket companies?
I bought D-Series lights from Rigid a couple years ago and I think they were $275 for one pair.

Also wondering if it will be plug and play with the factory up fitter switch harness? I haven’t unwrapped my factory harness yet, waiting on a kit just like this.

Pricing isn't out yet. So we're not sure what the "OEM Rigid Fog Kit" prices are going to be. But comparable is my guess.

We'll have dual Baja kits for the Gen3 available for about $475 for Sports and about $825 for Pros. Somewhere in that neighborhood. But it's all a little too soon to tell.

My guess is Ford is using 2 of your Upfitters for the 2 pairs of fogs they will have (or 1 pair, with the 2nd pair optional? who knows).

So if that is the case i'm curious for the non-OEM Fog packages, did they leave the wires in the pocket area for future hookup? My guess is they would, so they can re-use the same harness bundle across the entire truck fleet during building. In which case our kit will utilize whatever Ford left you.

My assumption was that the rigid lights woibe controlled by the same fog light switch/button that reg F150s have. I wasn't thinking about the 2 lights being controlled separately though. Maybe it is just one control though, and the light covers are more of a necessity?

Probably can zoom on interior pics and look for a fog lamp switch.
