I was under my truck this morning trying to find the source of a slight rattle when I go over small bumps and I noticed my drivers side CV boot had split and was leaking. After a few searches I found the parts locally and replaced it in about 3 hours. I plan on replacing the passengers side CV axle tomorrow as a preventative measure as the boot is also a bit warn and starting to crack.

Just replaced my fuel pump , after awhile check engine came up and code reads P0455 EVAP SYSTEM LEAK ( LARGE LEAK)
Is this a severe problem , is it fine driving the truck or should I take it to a garage right away ?

I did the passenger side CV axle this morning. After doing the drivers yesterday, I was able to do the passenger side in about an hour. To anyone looking to do this, don't mess around trying to get the thing out without removing everything. It's far quicker to just undo it all and give yourself plenty of room. That's where I went wrong on the drivers side...

After the the instal, I did some test driving and all seems well. That said, it seems like there is a slight gap on this axle, having never done this before, does this look right to anyone that has? I see some grease around the base where the axle meets the hub.

Here's the video on the Lee Power Steering upgrade I promised you guys....it runs long but I wanted it to be meaningful and give a guy a good idea what the install would go like. I'm super happy with how this turned out!

Nice , had the lee kit for a while now and no complains with 40s
