Nice truck! I have factory 3.0 live valves and increased preload to create a 1.5" lift. I have SVC uca's and when I first took it out after the install, without properly setting the adjustment on the sensors or recalibrating ride height, I had a very noticeable clunk on full extension. Plus the truck was much stiffer than expected, which made the clunk worse. I first adjusted the SVC UCA mounting point for the sensor, and it made a big difference. From there, I further had the recalibration done by the dealer. Both these changes had a noticeable improvement. However, neither quite brought the truck back to stock, and this is in my view likely due to the fact there was now 1.5" less downtravel. With Geisers, this would be even more pronounced. I suggest you try the recalibration before buying the factory 3.0s. That said, if you're going for more adjustment and cooling, then the factory 3.0s are definitely an improvement. Hope this helps

Thanks for the feedback. I am running SVCs billet UCAs as well. When you say you adjusted the sensor on the UCAs what exactly do you mean?

I knew I’d be sacrificing some things with the geisers but I guess I am just surprised by how bad it is. Was hoping this could be a happy medium till I bit the bullet and did a full mid travel build but as of right now this won’t work long term.

What’s really odd is this seems to only really be an issue at low speeds. The ride is tolerable on the highway/higher speeds.

Have a look at the SVC UCAs, there is a little bracket on the bottom of the front of each arm, that connects to the live valve sensor arm that is below. The SVC bracket has two screws, and if loosened, the bracket can be moved to the inside or outside of the truck. Given that the UCAs have an angle to them, moving the bracket inboard to the truck moves the little live valve sensor arm upwards (even though the UCA isn't actually moving). Once this is done, the truck should interpret the shocks as being less extended. As far as I understand, the truck will therefore soften the compression on the live valve shocks, to be more like the normal ride height settings. Given how much the Geisers lift the front end, it may not be possible to get the truck back to "normal" settings on the compression damping controlled by the live valve system, but it should be an improvement. Plus, its a free adjustment, whereas recalibration is not.

good luck

@TerribleONE - If you would like to recalibrate the ride height, I just bought new software for my shop is Anaheim and did it to my 2020 tonight.

I was at Innov8 last week. My buddy pulled the trigger on a set. I am looking at G500 and wish I hadn’t gone as it will most likely be an be an expensive visit.

I’m in tomorrow and should be in most of next week. Calibration is about 5 minutes once plugged in.

Great choice in bumpers. The KHC front bump is the best looking out there.

Thanks bro! I’m happy with how it all came together. What springs are you running? Did you feel an improvement after the calibration?

The innov8s sure aren’t cheap but I love them and think they’re worth every penny.

Took the truck out Friday to Cal city area and was definitely impressed for a street truck with some bolt on parts. I was really not sure what to expect since I have quite a bit of experience off road but driving SXS's and long travel sand cars which are obviously a totally different ball game.

Just a few thoughts from the day..

The Geiser springs felt great in the bigger stuff and definitely saved my skid plate from some abuse that I have no doubt a stock height raptor would have taken. It also seems like they needed that to break in a little as the street manners feel better now as well.

The truck took that jump with no real drama. It did use all the suspension up front but it really was not ideal for a truck and the landing was slight UP hill. I never came close to using all of the travel in the rear and probably only used half of the bump stops.

I didnt really mess with the drive modes as I really feel like they hold the shifts for too long. With my goosetune stage 2 and cobb TCM tuning I ran normal 2wd mode with advance track off 90% of the day. I did use baja mode when hitting that jump just to have the dampers stiffen up.

It was a cool day but didnt have any temp issues even with the FMIC which I know is a concern for some people.

I think this setup will hold me over for a while before I take the plunge and do a SVC mid travel kit.

Here are a few more pictures from the day.
