If youre running methods, I guarrantee thats causing the imbalance. You need to get some hub centric spacers for the wheels, also, I find that torquing the wheels at 100 lb/ft, then 150 does the trick, not just going to spec torque.
Thanks man, can I candidly ask why you think it’s my wheels? They’ve been fine for over a year and all of my balance readings come back great. Also, I really don’t want to add spacers, my methods already stick out beyond my fenders a decent amount.

Don't add spacers, that's dumb. Just do this instead..

Sorry, Wrong choice of word, centering caps from chiefmachining.com are what you should look at. I had the exact same issue chasing the vibration, and as soon as I got these, they immediately resolved my issue. The wheel studs are a centering design, but you really need the hub for a true fit, and the method inner cap doesn't work. After some off road miles, it will be all out of whack. Yes, wheel spacers would look stupid, don't do that. The only other thing I could say would be put your truck in neutral 2wd, crank the wheel to the left or right on flat ground with it idling, and give the wheels a push, see if your cv's are spinning. Im really betting on the wheels tho.

Right on, what kind of vibration did you feel? I assume you were on methods too? My wheel has a slight shake anywhere from 10mph and up...

Interesting development... I took my truck to a local office complex with big smooth parking lots and I did some investigating. At very light acceleration, my whole truck shakes from 20mph to about 40. If I maintain any speed in that range with light throttle, the truck shudders. So that’s new.. has to be driveline related? Also, on the way home, I switched from 2h to awd to 4h and then back to 2h while cruising at about 50mph.. after doing that, I was coasting towards a stop sign and I heard a loud clunk or slapping noise up front at about 10mph. Sounded like something popped into place? No change in vibration tho. It seems as though now the wheel oscillation comes and goes in waves as I drive, now that I’ve been messing with awd and 4h.. my truck is almost always in 2h

Man, thats a tough one! I am really wondering about the alignment on the hub. Yes, I have methods on my rig, and thats why I went with the adapters. It also sounds like you are going into and out of actuation in your front drive line. Have you replaced your check valve? They are a common issue among other things on the front end. TBH, Im on my last set of IWE's before my next set are the RCV eliminators. I am also counting out the driveshaft as that is also high speeds where you would feel vibrations come and go.

If it shudders only while accelerating, I would suspect a u-joint in the driveshaft. Other than that, maybe a motor or tranny mount, doubtful though.

If you have some tools, I would get a piece of chalk, mark the driveshaft at both ends and mark the Tcase and yoke on the rear diff. Pull the driveshaft and see if the u-joints are not sticking, or overly loose. If it's all good, put the shaft back in the way it came out.
Oh, make sure you set the parking brake first.

Good luck.

One last thought, while the shaft is out, try wiggling the yoke on the diff, there should be no play.

here, on frf
you know, I haven’t personally as I have just trusted three different dealer’s inspection reports... but my confidence in their service departments has finished to near zero.. kind of sad that the consumer can’t rely on dealer service to fully inspect and and diagnose an issue such as this. I’ll have to try to do this myself. Can you specify what I should be looking for? Ie, vertical or lateral play, general looseness? I’m not the most mechanically inclined when it comes to components like that.
park on a flat. chock wheels and set e brake. put into neutral. crawl under the truck and wiggle/rotate the drive shaft. see if theres play. if its not the driveshaft i would look into the mounts and bushings.
