Definitely. I have a long and complicated drive way, and the only way to get that trailer in is to back it in, so it'll be trial by fire my first day LOL. Watched several hours of How-To videos so far, feel decently well-armed with information, now it's time to put it into practice.

Like learning to drive stick, only way is to just do it.

Until you train your brain, put your hand at the bottom of the wheel and move it whichever direction you want to go.

A tandem axle trailer will actually be easier to learn on. They arent nearly as twitchy as single axles.

Trailer picked up today! Drove her about 4 hours so far.
Impressions --- VERY impressed!!! Raptor tows as well as I could ever imagine. I don't have anything to compare it against, but honestly didn't feel like I was left wanting for anything else.

After I picked it up, I drove it about 1.5 hours home, empty, the ride quality was really bad. The lack of weight on the trailer made it extremely bouncy to the point of nearly nauseating. Once I put the good ole subaru onboard, holy cow does it ride like a dream. Tightens everything up and rides like natural once properly loaded.

TONS of power, never felt myself wanting for more power. It has plenty enough power to get it up to any speed I'd feel comfortable driving at.

Extremely pleased with the whole thing. I spent about 1.5 hours practicing manuvering and backing up in an old parking lot with tight gaps. Helped me learn how to gauge cornering and limits. Reversing is coming along nicely - my driveway is about as complicated to reverse into as it gets and I did it twice today without holding up traffic too bad the first time.

Going to be taking it for a nice 4-5 hour drive tomorrow with a mix of city, highway, mountain, traffic, and parking lot training.

Question though - can you guys take a peak at these pics and let me know if this ball angle looks alright?
Looks to me like the ball is kind of canted downwards more than might be ideal? If this is problematic, how to fix?
I loaded it with shy of 500lb tongue weight - car weighs roughly 2900-3000 lb and trailer is 1950.

Took my trailer and WRX for a walk out to Stevens Pass Sunday. Very steep grade, very narrow lanes, icy road and touched the snow just to get a feel for it.
No complaints!
Been taking the trailer to work with my to continue getting more experience. So far so good.

Don’t be afraid to use tow/haul mode, manually lock out gears, and downshift for yourself as needed.

As any Billy Big Rigger worth his salt will tell you, your gearing is your first set of brakes. The service brakes are secondary.
