Backup lights are easy! $20-40 from amazon and they will go right over the hitch. Any brand works really.

concur about those hooks.....probably some engineer who has never actually tried to use his design.....PIA for SURE!!!! Here is mine loaded...had to move the lift to redistribute the weight over the tires.....using a WeighSafe 6" drop.

I've done several of these on my and family member's vehicles. They are so cheap you can try several models without hurting yourself. Never a failure yet and just splice them into your backup light taillight wire or run them up to a fitter switch. I just have mine into the backup light. It;s mounted in between the hitch and bumper back out of sight.
