Hi guys - I took my truck to Dale at Dave's Frame and Alignment last week and he suggest I add the Camburg Kinetik UCA. He said that it would improve handling. Does anyone run this set up on a 2020 or 2019 with live valves (stock). Will it only improve handling or will it improve the way the shock responds. IE over bumps thinking it is higher than it really is.

Sorry I'm not great with the technical stuff but I really just want to know if the UCA will make the truck ride and handle more like stock with Live Valves and Eibachs.

You say make it ride more like stock. Have you done something else to make it not ride like stock? Or do you just mean, will it remain stock feeling after the install?

I already have the Eibachs installed. It’s much firmer over bumps. I assume because the live valve is at the upper limit. Will the UCA help correct that?

The UCAs help geometry by correcting caster, which helps return to center and can take the sharpness out of hard bumps. It’s still a bit sharper compared to stock, but I couldn’t imagine it without the UCAs.

no uca’s will not change the effect the springs are having on your ride, mostly aftermarket uca’s are to allow alignment adjustment so the lca slotted mounts are not the alignment method, uca’s have heims and uniball which are stronger and have more range of motion but also more maintenance, you may have to go back to stock springs or get fox live valve factory race coilovers, but that’s over $3k
you can also have the ride height re calibrated by a ford dealer so the shock is not being fooled by the longer spring

Got it. All good info. I guess what I'm wondering is in regards to what I believe is the position sensor that connects to the UCA. See attached pics. Will the Camburg UCA remounting of the position sensor and the shape and geometry of the UCA return the position sensor to closer to that of the stock position? Seems like as it is now with the Eibach the UCA is tilted lower than it was when stock. So if the Camburg UCA corrects that geometry and the UCA is more level will it change the ride characteristics of the suspension?

I think I may have found the answer to my question... See attached file for install instructions. Says the sensor is relocated. Looks like it is moved down. I assume this is in order to retain proper geometry.
