I bought all 3 pieces separately on eBay for about 800 total (head unit, gps, usb hub) and it was all plug and play. That coupled with a cplay2air, now I have wireless CarPlay and will never look back. If you haven’t upgraded to sync 3, it’s a game changer. Especially when witeless

Was there any additional programming required to get the heated/cooled seat controls?
No, mine all just worked, plug and play. I may have gotten lucky though and gotten a sync3 from another vehicle that already had them enabled, which was a Lincoln. The only thing I had to change with programming was the boot logo from Lincoln to Raptor

I put in an order from this seller. Will have some additional feedback in a few weeks I imagine. My wallet hates all of you.

Sidenote seems like sync is pretty well hacked for future updates/tweaks of the APIM. Check out https://cyanlabs.net/applications/syn3-updater/

Installed this evening. So far so good, initially all the functionality looks good except my gps antenna, will reseat it and do some more testing over the weekend. For the price I am happy with the quality, though I'm pretty sure these aren't OEM ford parts if that matters to you.

The snappier response and android auto is night and day from the old my Ford touch system.

Power up the truck and take a few different pics. I’d like to see how it looks in the Gen1 dash. Thanks!
