Funny how some will spend twice as much on rear springs when a product like this just to "level" their truck. When a product like this does so much more for less.

I’m curious - I have eibach springs sitting on my shelf been hesitant to install due to the sag- don’t want to spend a bunch on deavers that may eventually sag themselves either

wonder why more people haven’t tried air bags and/or adding leaf(s) to existing OEM rear springs?

There was a video on here a while back of a guy who had this on his Raptor. Was showing it off with a trailer and completely eliminated the sag with the trailer and did it from outside his truck with the app. Was really cool. I can't find it now that I am looking for it though. I looked into these for my raptor but the only shop anywhere near me is a shop that has s reputation of bad installs so I elected to stay away.

Looks like these are about $500. I've never looked into Deavers. I assume they are as much or more.

So the idea is that Eibachs + air bags in the rear = level truck with adjustability for towing, while Eibachs + Deavers = maybe level, maybe not, and more expensive? Is that the take-away?

airbags on a diesel? yes. airbags on a raptor? no. simply put, you plan on using the raptor offroad then airbags will destroy your offroad capability. if you bought the truck just for looks and dont plan ongoing offroad, sure you could do airbags, but why spend all this money on an offroad truck if all you are going to do is tow with it? might as well get a diesel, much better towing capabilities.

probably. But how many REALLY offroad their raptor. small percentage.

granted it's definitely not a towing vehicle. those air bags look to make the ride a bit nicer.

So, I am getting these on as I don’t want to kill the ride I currently have but prevent sag on some heavier loads and towing the RV. It’s about 500 for the bags and 300-500 for the compressor. I am running another line out of the compressor to use it for inflating other things as well. I don’t do anything crazy off road except a decent amount in sand at the beach. I don’t think the bags will become an issue.

When they mount them they could just mount the top and leave the bottom unattached with a special plate so you don’t lose the articulation and make sure they are deflated for off-roading but as mentioned air bags aren’t built for off-roading (ride, comfort and durability). I upgraded to Deavers not only for the sag but it keeps my rear end planted instead of OEM where the rear end felt squirrely at high speed trails but depends on what you use it for with what kind of suspension you upgrade to.
