I would think you would be cracking your shins on that. That's the reason I will not keep a ball mount on my truck unless I'm going to be towing.
I concur. Might not look that bad, and could be functional, but you would likely hit your knees on there, accidentally, more than you’d like.

Ive had a "Spare Bumper" SP424 for several years now, got one way back for my old Outback. Had a bumper step on it originally that some **** decided to backup into in a parking garage. It folded right up and pushed into the bumper. Pretty sure some people have tested the SP424 for me. Ive cleaned paint off of it a few times but took no damage except losing one of the plastic end caps.
