This is true, but so are the running boards and I have broke them in two going over (thur?) the rocks!

I've toyed with the idea of getting rock sliders welded to the frame below the wiring harness. But most of my offroading lately has been light duty to camp grounds and whatnot. That picture you posted is something I'd tackle with my Jeep... but I just sold that lol

Had some 4Runner buddies convince me to do some crawling. Damn that was boring and nerve-wracking, never again. Without the sway bar it did very well though. Also glad I had the extra clearance. See the 5HP mod?

I did mine at 125,000 miles, still okay at 150,000, you using yours to heat the whole inside or just your ass? lol

You got 125,000 out of yours? cool, first time dealer gave me run around at 16,000 so I did the job, and now at 79,513 driver side both times.

Yeah, a member on here posted "a how to", was easy to do on my scab and cheap. I don't use the heated seat much I guess, I know they are a weak issue for the drivers seat. I wish I only had less than 80k on mine.

Got out the wire brush and sander, cleaned up the rear hitch and hooks, they were looking like crap, painted with gloss black Tremclad.IMAG0528.jpg IMAG0529.jpg IMAG0530.jpg IMAG0531.jpg IMAG0532.jpg Then got all worried and paranoid after @FordTechOne said the cab corners rust out, so sprayed another can of fluid film everywhere under the rockers and scab corners. Should be good for another winter on the "Highway thru Hell"
