I'm friends with TJ from GJ Motorsports and this question has come up before but those LEDS are the brightest available based on the size parameters.

The housing is aluminum and can easily be drilled out for larger led. Just don’t even know where to look.

Would love to find a way to retrofit the stock led from the stock third brake light.

I have the Evil Manufacturing 3rd brake light and the red leds are bright! Maybe you can get a set and install them on your light.

They are just normal red led lights. With the brake on they are sent 12v, with just the parking lights I believe it’s 9v. So it’s just more voltage that makes them brighter

the parking lights are probably around 8v. if it were 9v, things would be much easier

It literally doesn’t matter. The leds are 12v. Feeding them less voltage makes them dimmer and when the brakes are applied they get full voltage 12-14v
