Go to say love the forum lots of information in here ! So I have a 2018 2gen , the radio is driving me nuts long pauses and delay calls , backup camera staying on after I go into drive and staying on a few minutes . Oh yeah kicking my Bluetooth off and on yes I did the update hard reset soft reset , even said a few choice words to it anyone else come across this issue thanks

Yes I hooked up to WiFi and it took a hour it seemed but finally updated

Did this fix your issues? I haven't updated yet but I'm having some intermittent sync issues of my own. Planning on updating later this week/weekend.

No my dad has a 2018 roush in his is doing the same thing too we both did the updates didn't really do anything still have the same problem I think it's the module

Have you done a master reset and verified that your phone is compatible with the system? It's not likely that both trucks have bad APIMs, they are a robust module with an aluminum housing.

I've done the master reset the phone is compatible my phone is not the only thing with the delay in the AC controls will delay the radio controls themselves will delay I'm still under warranty I just need to take it in and let them fix it it just seems like it takes forever to get an appointment at Ford at least I got my new wheels and I'm happy about that

Nice wheels. Everything in the touchscreen is the same system; it goes through the APIM. When Sync 3 first came out, we had issues with the Navigation system crashing and rebooting. Turned out the MLB App on the customer's phone was the root cause; even with the phone paired over bluetooth and not plugged in. Let us know what they come up with.

you know all my problems did start after I installed the fordpass app on my phone it didn't have any issues before that maybe I'll delete the app and see if that fixes it

I haven't seen that cause issues, but hey, why not at least try it and see if it makes a difference.
